WHO IS IMAN
Born in Ala Mhigo, Iman’s life has been something different from the jump. As far as he and his mother knew, his father was a fighter that walked away from fighting to have a peaceful life. Iman doesn’t have many memories of his mother. She died when he was 4 years old.After her death, his father moved the two of them to Doma to try and escape the memories of his late wife. Once they arrived into a small seaside village, that's when everything changed even more. His father threw Iman into a relentless training regiment. His father saw it as training Iman to survive in a cold and uncaring world.He saw it as giving his son the best gift he ever could. but iman experienced an almost loveless father son relationship with him being pushed to the edge and sometimes further past it.When he was 16, Iman’s father grew ill. rather than letting his son enjoy his final moments with him, he sent him away. Iman wanted to stay, but his father wouldn’t budge.He spent the next few years wandering. His travels took him all over the world.Without anyone else, he turned to the one thing that he had known since he was young: fighting. The skills his father had forced him to learn made him a very valuable and very wealthy man. This time, he saw his father’s training as the man showed his son love. He felt the pain and friction the two had up until his death as his fault. He started to forgive his father as just a man who was doing his best.That is, until he met Ishmael. What he thought was a random man, turned out to be his half brother. The blossoming forgiveness growing in his heart quickly faded as he learned about who his father really was: A warlord. The man was ruthless and cruel, to men. women, and children alike.Once he learned about his fathers true nature, he felt the want to fight just evaporate.Most would think that a life filled with such bad luck and hardship would turn someone's heart to stone, but not Iman.Throughout his life the one thing keeping him from losing it or completely giving up was love. He determined that if he can’t receive love, he could still give it.Iman cares for others so much more that it could be seen as reckless or self destructive. He may not do it for himself, but he would do anything and everything for someone else.
